Each year around summer and winter vacation, students are rushing around trying to find a room to rent. However, with such a diverse selection of rooms on offer, students usually prioritize price, size, and facilities, and often neglect to consider the safety of road access. In the vicinity of Tainan City’s Chang Jung Christian University many rooms are located in farming communities where access roads are extremely narrow. This makes the roads only accessible by motorbikes and very small cars, and impossible for larger vehicles, like those of the emergency services to enter. With ever-greater numbers of rooms becoming available, students are advised to first consider all the pros and cons before making a choice.

每年寒暑假期間，大學生總是急忙在學校外找學生宿舍，而學校外的宿舍樣式多，對學生來說室內的價位、大小、設備都是學生考慮的第一個條件，但「外部道路」的安全顧慮卻常常忽略了。在台南市長榮大學附近，有的宿舍都建在田間，這些的田間路都很小條．對大型車和消防車來說，根本無法通過。根據調查結果發現，大部分通往這些租屋處只能騎摩托車，頂多容納一台車子的寬度，假如發生意外，消防車要進入可說是困難重重。學校附近宿舍越建越多，對學生來說能有更多選擇，但也應該要多做比較，才能維護自己的權利。
