Dounan’s ‘Your Shoot’ records the unique flavor of Taliwu

This year’s first ‘Your Shoot’ event from the PeoPo Citizen Journalism Platform took place in mid-March at Yunlin’s Dounan Station, the last train station to be built by the Japanese in Taiwan. The station building not only possesses some unique features, but is also an important distribution center for local industry. Currently, the Urban and Rural Development Association is striving to begin regeneration of the railway station and adjacent old warehouse, and develop a joint education and recreation space for parents and children. Citizen journalists participating in this ‘Your Shoot’ event enthusiastically captured all the day’s happenings through the lens, providing us with lots of content-rich reports.
