Wanhua Life Festival – Enjoying Winter Together

Oozing with culture and history, Wanhua District is located in the West District of Taipei City. A series of related activities organized under the title of “City West” invites people to saunter through the local streets and alleys and removes any excuses for spending those cold winter days alone. Experts and scholars have joined forces with locals to look back at Wanhua's rich history and explore its future.

Bopiliao Historic Block keeps alive Wanhua’s century-old streets and the bustling scenes of yesteryear. What's more, the fact many movies were shot here, makes it of particular attraction to many people. With numerous historical objects on display and providing an insight into early Wanhua life, Bopiliao Historic Block is waking people up to the irresistible charm of Wanhua and overturning negative labels from the past.
