I'm so happy that Ayumi and Hinata like the terraced fields in Yangmingshan National Park

Ayumi and Hinata said they had never seen iris before. I said the first time I saw iris was in the Meiji Jingu Garden Garden in Japan.

Ayumi and Hinata

The ecology of solitary bees, skinks, dragonflies, butterflies, etc. is very rich.

The purple-flowered flowers are Taiwan's native species, Aralia lucidum, and Taiwan's endemic species are long-legged red frogs and toad tadpoles. It was really comfortable to step on the soil with bare feet for the first time. The weather was good, and many groups of small fish appeared. Ayumi and Hinata immediately said: "Medaka fish?(メダカ)", it is common to raise medaka fish as a teaching activity in Japanese elementary schools.

The night before, I had boiled mugwort, gale grass, moxa, and lemongrass herbal bath at my house. Today I went to Yangmingshan terraces to cut mugwort and take it home to dry and use. Both of them can use a sickle, and the Achilles tendon in their heels can squat to the bottom or half squat to harvest. They are also very flexible when climbing big rocks or jumping barefoot. Their physical fitness is better than that of young people in Taiwan. It is really amazing.

Ayumi said, "Elementary school teaches vegetable gardening, so I know how to use a sickle." Hinata said, "There is a flower garden next to the community. Every month, residents voluntarily go to clean up weeds, so I know how to use a sickle."

We visited  New Beitou Park built by the Japanese and the New Beitou Environmental Protection Library. I shared with them that I really like NHK~ One hundred natural sceneries and NHK world Darwin's Amazing Animals introduced~ Shima-Enaga and other rich ecology, zero waste life Japan Cherish The heart of things and the use of creativity and wisdom of nature, modern science re-examines the wisdom of ninjas

I am very grateful to Ayumi and Hinata  for giving me the delicious Japanese snacks and tea that have been passed down for hundreds of years. I asked them why Japan can retain many cultures and businesses that are more than a hundred years old. They said that the elementary school extracurricular activities will go to the Kamakura Giant Buddha, which was built in 1252. The elementary school teacher taught ISEA dance for the Okinawa festival. Like Taiwan, after junior high school, I was busy with schoolwork and had less time to incorporate traditional culture into my life. The Yangmingshan terraces are adjacent to Zhuzi Lake, and they also share the history of Japan’s rice breeding in Zhuzi Lake. I hope that after they return to China, they can integrate more traditional Japanese culture and the new era into their daily lives, so that more people can learn more. of Japanese culture.

My friend asked me why I am motivated to receive foreign students
1. You can take the opportunity to clean your home well
2. Preparing ingredients and itineraries can activate your mind
3. Looking at Taiwan from the perspective of foreign students, we can discover the bad habits that we usually take for granted and improve them. For example, students from South America in Taiwan were curious as to why red beans are eaten sweet, while in their country red beans are used as vegetables and cooked as salty, so I added red bean porridge for breakfast, and it was really delicious.
4. Learn foreign culture and wisdom that are not mentioned in travel guides or book classes. At this event, Kazumi, a doctoral student at Utsu Ko University in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, said that he grew rice at home and had mechanically pulled chains to weed many years ago.
5. Understand the current situation in foreign countries that is not reported in the news
