It is hard to imagine that FuDeKeng Landfill Reclamation Park, which includes a large green meadow and remote-control aircraft runway, was once a landfill site. After 10 years of restoration, it has finally been transformed into a great space for people to fly remote-controlled aircraft and enjoy family trips close to nature. However, the long 25-minute walk from the bus drop-off point to FuDeKeng Landfill Reclamation Park, coupled with the infrequency of the bus service mean that people without a car or motorcycle are put to great inconvenience. In addition, the adjacent cemetery creates fear in those travelling to the park in the evening. The Department of Environmental Protection (EPA) indicated that they would talk to the relevant department in the hope of improving the bus service to the park. Although the park is located on the outskirts of the city, with its wide meadow, bike lanes and other facilities, as well as the establishment of many outdoor works of art, many people are attracted to the area on holidays, providing an important green space to the busy Taipei people.

十年復育有成 垃圾山綠草如茵 ( 世新Online )
一大片綠油油的草地與遙控飛機場，這裡是台北市福德坑環保復育公園。但你能想像，這裡原本是一座垃圾掩埋場嗎？經過十多年的復育，它現在已經成為民眾玩飛機，一家大小出遊、親近大自然的好去處。從公車下車處到福德坑公園，走路需要25分鐘，沒有汽機車的民眾，只能搭乘公車，班次不多，造成不便；鄰近公墓也讓夜晚經過的民眾害怕。環保局表示會再跟相關單位進行溝通，期盼能夠提高使用率。雖然公園位處郊區，但擁有滑草場、自行車道等設施，也設立了許多戶外藝術品，每到假日就會吸引民眾前來這裡遊玩，讓忙碌的台北，也能有個放鬆身心的時候。
