演講摘要
1.The power in the hierarchized surveillance of the disciplines is not possessed as a thing, or transferred as a property; it functions like a piece of machinery. (Foucault, Discipline and Punish 77).

2.[T]he subject of testimony is the one who bears witness to a desubjectification. . . . [H]uman beings are human in so far as they bear witness to the inhuman. (Agamben, Remnants of Auschwitz 121).

3.Shame is what is produced in the absolute concomitance of subjectification and desubjectification, self-loss and self-possession, servitude and sovereignty. (Agamben, Remnants of Auschwitz 107)
