Sifen River – The emerald of Taipei

Established in 2011 by the then Taipei Mayor, Hau Lung-bin (郝龍斌), Sifen River (四分溪) was the first river in Taipei to have its fish protected. Over the last four years, through environmental protection and various activities by local civic organizations, the health and vigor of the river has been restored to its former glory. In 2015, the “5th Clean Sifen River Family Festival” was held to maintain and protect the wonderful results achieved over the last few years, embodying the spirit of community outreach education and fun.

四分溪是台北市第一條封溪護魚的河川，2011年由當時台北市長郝龍斌正式公告成立。四年來經過在地公民團體行動與環境保育，已恢復往日情景，溪中生命力旺盛。為了延續守護的成果，2015年持續以環教宣導與社區同樂的方式辦理『第五屆四分溪親溪淨溪節』。
