PeoPo Video Workshop strengthens reporting skills

PeoPo Citizen Journalism Platform holds an annual two-day audio-visual workshop to encourage the production of audio-video reports and the continual improvement of production methods for citizen journalists. Only platform users whose reports were uploaded and showcased on PeoPo Webcast (PeoPo公民新聞) were invited to the workshop. This year, a total of 30 citizen journalists were invited to participate in the workshop, where under the guidance of video production experts, they greatly enhanced their video production know-how, filming and editing the reports with lightning speed. 

Video production teachers first divided participants into teams and discussed topics worthy of shooting before accompanying them outside to commence with the shooting. After shooting, citizen journalists immediately began editing and the next day conducted a review and sharing session. During the sharing session, each group showed its post-edited film results and through extensive discussions and interactions managed to raise their newsgathering skills to a new level.

PeoPo公民新聞平台，為了鼓勵公民記者在影音拍攝，以及報導製作上精益求精，每年都會舉辦兩天一夜的影音工作坊，邀請曾經在PeoPo平台台發表報導，而且報導曾經被PeoPo公民新聞報引用的公民記者，參與工作坊，今年一共有30位的公民記者受邀參與，在監製的帶領下，迅速拍攝製作報導。

每位監製老師事前就與各組學員進行拍攝議題的討論，並陪伴各組公民記者進行外拍。拍攝結束之後，公民記者馬上進行剪接，隔天再進行檢討與分享。在分享會上，各組展示拍攝剪接的成果，經由充分的討論與互動，讓報導更上一層樓。
