Visually impaired get acquainted with dogs
The Parents Association for the Visually Impaired of Taiwan (中華民國視障者家長協會) recently visited Taipei City Hakka Cultural Center to introduce guide dogs and therapy dogs to the visually impaired. The event was aimed at promoting a better interaction between dogs and the visually impaired and encouraging visually impaired people to apply for guide dogs in the future. The association hopes to help visually impaired people learn from their daily lives and through a variety of skills, and at the same time help them understand the important role that guide dogs can play in their life.

視障者與狗狗的近距離接觸
中華民國視障者家長協會,於台北市客家藝文活動中心,為視障者舉辦一場導盲犬與療癒犬的介紹,希望讓視障朋友,可以跟狗狗有更好的互動,未來有機會也讓更多的視障朋友,願意去申請導盲犬。該協會表示,希望能幫助視障者學習從本身的生活起居,到各種技能;同時也幫助家裡面有視障者的家庭,希望藉這個機會,讓視障者朋友了解,導盲犬也是可以幫助他們生活的工具之一。
