The eco-concept of portable folding cups arrives

In recent years, there has been a rise in environmental awareness, with many people touting eco-friendliness; however, in reality, few people practice what they preach. Inventor of the folding cup, Chen Zhong-yu (陳忠郁), discovered that carrying a cup around was very inconvenient and therefore very impractical to implement. By inventing the thin and convenient folding cup, Chen Zhong-yu has made it much easier for consumers to practice environmental protection and reduce damage to the environment.

Currently, many shops offer discounted rates on personal eco-friendly cups but few consumers are buying. In the eyes of most people, such cups are too heavy and inconvenient, and the discount not attractive enough to offset the inconvenience. If people continue to use disposable products and fail to take action over the global trash problem, then we will not only quickly exhaust the planet’s natural resources but are also on course for an ecological catastrophe.
