Tainan Try Shoot+ Meets Earth Art Festival
PeoPo's latest Try Shoot+ event was held at the Tsung Yeh Arts & Cultural Center in Matou, Tainan. Citizen journalists from across the country explored the Grade III monument, a former sugar factory now restored as an art exhibition space and the primary venue for the Mattauw Earth Triennial. The site features a giant sika deer sculpture in the park, symbolizing the re-emergence of Siraya's vitality in Tsung Yeh.
PeoPo’s commitment to spreading local culture and community stories and collaborating with community colleges countrywide in organizing Try Shoot + events has led to a growing army of citizen journalists. Their participation in this Try Shoot+ event allowed them to align with the eco-art movement while witnessing the successful transformation of Tsung Yeh Arts & Cultural Center and the power of art in action.
