「捍衛苗栗青年聯盟」於8月6日起 到14日將在苗栗縣各鄉鎮巡迴舉行「苗栗人民抗暴行動論壇」，並於16日晚上6點在縣府前廣場舉行「苗栗拆政府、守護苗栗音樂會」。而大埔居民黃福記的兒子黃坤裕於8/6發出求救訊息！因為他接獲消息指出，苗栗縣政府8/7可能要派工人及怪手來挖除他家的農地，他們會與之抗爭，希望有人能來聲援，8/7現場有50多位的聲援者將怪手擋了下來，但是之後呢？
