Thanking Taiwan’s Heroes

On August 30, the curtain came down on the successful Taipei 2017 Summer Universiade, in which outstanding performances by Taiwanese athletes seized 26 gold, 34 silver, and 30 bronze medals. In a show of respect to the athletes, the Ministry of Education and Taipei City Government jointly held “Taiwan’s Heroes Parade.”

Jubilant members of the public flanked the parade route, screaming and yelling with joy as the motorcade passed. This sporting event has helped fortify the solidarity of Taiwanese people, inspired by outstanding performances from the athletes.

     2017世界大學運動會在台北，活動成功於於8月30日閉幕，台灣選手表現優異精采，共拿下26金34銀30銅，為向運動員致敬，教育部體育署與台北市政府特別舉辦「台灣英雄大遊行」。

     車隊行經路線，受到民眾夾道歡迎，尖叫聲、歡呼聲不絕於耳。一場運動賽事，凝聚了台灣的向心力，選手精彩的表現也振奮了許多人。
