Fascinating human chain helps shift books

At the request of Miaoli’s Da Nan Elementary School principal, teachers and students formed a giant human chain to move a load of obsolete old books. The books were passed down one-by-one from the library’s third floor all the way to the first floor where they were loaded onto a waiting truck and taken for recycling.

 Organized to provide the kids with a more scholarly library environment, the exhausted kids were delighted to complete this arduous two-day book-moving mission.

人龍搬書好有趣

  苗栗縣大南國小校長，帶著全校師生，以接龍方式搬運一些不合時宜的舊圖書，小朋友從三樓圖書館到一樓貨車，連成一條長長的人龍，以雙手將一本本圖書，一個傳給一個，作「資源回收」。

   大南國小為給學生一個書香的閱讀環境，他們花了兩天用接力的方式，將多本不時宜的舊書接力搬到貨車作資作回收，小朋友雖然喊累，但更高興完成這項艱難的任務。
