Taiwan’s multifaceted efforts to consolidate international relations

Last week, the Solomon Islands and Kiribati broke diplomatic ties with Taiwan, reducing Taiwan’s allies to just 15 countries. In the past, Taiwan invested a great deal of time and money in the development of countries willing to build diplomatic relations. This series of reports in collaboration with the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) show the complete trajectory of all the hard work and dedication of countless people through the years.

Taiwan finds itself in a tricky international situation. Hopefully, through these ICDF reports, more people will be made aware of the contributions made by many people in the field of diplomatic relations over the years and the lasting fruits of their labor.
