International White Scar Center Inauguration – Gratitude in the Heart
The mission "Cure White Scar, Cure Mind Scar" continues the spirit of gratitude towards Director Noordhoff's "Love Makes Whole," allowing love to be passed on. Completing the final mile of cleft lip and palate medical treatment, making the white scar on the upper lip invisible, empowers patients to face marriage and the future. This is a lifelong gratitude and repayment to Director Noordhoff, who dedicated his life to treating cleft lip and palate and nurtured me.
The world's first White Scar Center internationalizes and institutionalizes white scar medical care, benefiting global white scar patients. "Cure White Scar, Cure Mind Scar" aims to become a new highlight in Taiwan's international healthcare, attracting foreign white scar patients for treatment, fostering medical tourism, and boosting Taiwan's economy.
White scars may reveal the previously unknown emotional wounds and privacy of patients, such as cleft lip and palate, wrist-cutting suicides, bullying, cosmetic surgeries, unmarried cesarean sections, etc. If not addressed, these scars can become a lifelong pain.
The innovative technology of White Scar Color Regeneration (Microdermal Grafting for Color Regeneration of White Scars) becomes a beacon and savior for the treatment of white scars and scars, making them no longer visible and wiping away the patients' tears of despair.

Since 2020, more than 50 foreign white scar patients have been treated, coming from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Austria, the Bahamas, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, China, etc. Most of them learned about white scar treatment through online platforms such as Google or Twitter and sought treatment from afar. There are also nearly 400 Taiwanese patients.
On December 14th, we express gratitude to the guests from all walks of life for their presence, ribbon-cutting, and speeches (substituted by videos for those unable to attend), including Director Liu Yueping of the Health Promotion Administration, representatives from National Sun Yat-sen University, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Taiwan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, representatives from Chang Gung and Kaohsiung Medical University Hospitals, representatives from the Cleft Lip and Palate Craniofacial Foundation and Association, legislators, city councilors, representatives of foreign white scar patients, philanthropists, and more, totaling more than 60 people. Their presence witnessed the inauguration ceremony of the International White Scar Center, adding brilliance and spreading the center's mission of "Cure White Scar, Cure Mind Scar."
To "Cure White Scar, Cure Mind Scar," and achieve "reshaping the body, reshaping the mind," is to enable white scar patients to heal physically and mentally, free themselves from the past, and stride confidently towards the future.
