1000-year-old trees witness centennial marriages

2011 coincides with 100 years of the Republic of China and so many lovers have been fighting for places to tie the knot in this auspicious year. One very special wedding venue has been the ‘2011 Marriage Beneath the Giant Alishan Trees’; situated in one of Taiwan’s most stunning and romantic landmarks. 16 couples made their wedding vows, witnessed by 1000-year-old ancient trees, in what could only be described as the most romantic and unforgettable wedding of the century.     

Organizers of the event, Alishan National Scenic Area Administration, expressed its warm welcome to anyone wishing to come and enjoy the wonderful Alishan area; a place that is not only ideal for wedding photos and spending a honeymoon, but also for the incredibly relaxing forest walks, where visitors can leave all the stress and clamor of the city behind. In Alishan, the potent force of the natural world is palpable; a place where one is imbued with eternal happiness.

2011年正逢中華民國100年，許多情侶搶搭百年結婚潮。有一場特別的戶外婚禮，『2011阿里山新印象-神木下婚禮山海戀』，在台灣最美麗的地標阿里山上浪漫登場。16對新人在千年神木前許下諾言，舉辦浪漫的百年世紀婚禮，由千年神木見證，簽訂萬年的浪漫婚約，完成最夢幻最難忘的終身大事。
  
主辦單位阿里山國家風景管理處也表示，未來歡迎更多人到阿里山上來找尋幸福，不只拍婚紗、度蜜月，更可以漫步在山林間享受芬多精，忘卻都市繁華塵囂，並感受大自然堅定不移的情感力量，讓幸福能持續到天長地久。
