PeoPo audiovisual bootcamp draws international students to Taiwan

PeoPo’s annual summer audiovisual bootcamp not only attracted 25 Taiwanese students this year but also welcomed two international students from Malaysia and Hong Kong. Summer is typically the only time these international students can return home, yet they chose to stay in Taiwan to enhance their skills by participating in the bootcamp. The inclusion of foreign students has further enriched the platform with cross-border content, broadening the perspectives of their fellow citizen journalists.

After more than a decade of effort, PeoPo has sown over 1,500 seeds of knowledge, with some former attendees even becoming leaders in the media industry. More importantly, PeoPo continues to enhance overall media literacy, providing a platform for creators who wish to make their voices heard. PeoPo一年一度的暑期實習營。今年不僅有25位台灣同學參加，還有來自馬來西亞和香港的兩位僑生加入。暑假是僑生唯一能夠回家的時間，她們為了提升自我的能力，選擇留在台灣參與暑期實習營，而外籍學生的加入，更是讓平台增加了跨國界的內容，讓公民記者朋友們的視野更廣。

經過PeoPo十多年的努力，所埋下的種子已經超過1,500顆，當中不乏有實習同學已經當上媒體業的主管，更重要的是，PeoPo一直幫助提升整體的媒體素養，為想發聲的創作者締造平台，PeoPo明年的暑期實習營，期待有您的參與。
