On November 11, the editors-in-chief from 16 colleges got together at PTS for the 17th Campus Editors-in-Chief Meeting, where each college took turns introducing its news production and editorial process, as well as sharing a 3-minute video news report for the intercollegiate competition and mutually exchanging experiences. At the meeting, a Q&A style approach engaged the college editors-in-chief in enthusiastic discussions through which they gained a better understanding of the operational processes used by other schools and the techniques used to present various news items.  

In the afternoon, host of the PTS News Talk program Chen Hsin-tsung (陳信聰) shared with the students his ideas on dealing with social issues. Following this, the students got to watch the recording of “PeoPo Weekly Review” and were invited on stage to experience being an anchor, recording their very own news report. Through this short one-day of exchange activities, all of the editors-in-chief reaped a rich harvest.

Empowering students to walk out of the campus and begin caring for the community has always been the long-term goal of PeoPo’s campus news centers. Through encouraging each student to report on social issues and all the little stories that matter in the community, the perspectives of student citizen journalists will have the opportunity of gaining much wider exposure.

17屆校園總編輯會議 16校經驗分享

第十七屆校園採訪中心總編輯會議，11月25日在公視電視舉辦，十六所傳播學系的總編輯齊聚，分別介紹各校的校園媒體及編採運作模式，和播放3分鐘的競賽影片，彼此相互交流、經驗分享。這次的總編輯會議，各校討論十分熱烈，同學們透過一問一答的方式，也更加了解其他學校的運作模式，和作品的呈現手法。

下午的時間，由公視有話好說的主持人陳信聰，與同學們分享社會議題的處理方式，緊接著同學們來到攝影棚內，觀賞公民新聞報的錄影現場，並親自上場體驗當主播錄製自己的新聞。透過短短一天的交流活動，也讓各校總編輯們得到滿滿的收穫。

走出校園，社區全記錄，一直是PeoPo校園採訪中心所期盼，鼓勵每位同學都能記錄觀察，身邊的感動故事以及公共議題，也讓學生觀點的公民新聞，能有更多展現的機會。
